California Calls for Revise to Methyl Bromide Exposure Standards.

The California Superior Court for San Francisco County has ruled that the state's Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) must revise its 2004 methyl bromide exposure standards to conform with the recommendations of the Environmental Defense Center, which assesses the risks of hazardous substances. A grower group says "there aren't any health or safety problems with DPR's current standards, which are already more stringent that EPA's methyl bromide standards."
