Fed: Gallop says Labor can afford its state election promises

CANBERRA, Feb 9 AAP - West Australian Opposition Leader Geoff Gallop said today he
was confident Labor could win what would be a tight state election tomorrow.

Dr Gallop said the poll would be close but the ALP was confident about its chances.

"We're very confident we can win a majority of the vote and then you push to translate
that into a majority of seats, but it will be tight," he told ABC radio.
